The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana (CM LBY) is a flagship welfare scheme by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, launched in 2023 by then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, with the core aim of empowering women from lower and middle-income families across the state.

Under this scheme, eligible women receive a monthly financial transfer directly into their bank accounts initially set at ₹1,000 per month, which was later increased to ₹1,250 providing a steady source of independent income to women who previously had little or no financial autonomy.

Application process

The application process for the CM Ladli Behna Yojana is primarily offline. 

• Step 1: Collect the application form from your nearest Gram Panchayat, Ward office, or designated campsite.

  • Aadhar card
  • Bank account details (DBT linked)

• Step 4: Take the completed form and attached documents to the nearest campsite, Gram Panchayat, or Ward office.
• Step 5: An online photograph of the applicant will be taken during the submission process. Your application will then be registered.
• Step 6: Obtain a receipt confirming the successful submission of your application.

• Step 3: Provide your online registration number or member composite number, and enter the captcha with the OTP generated.

• Step 4: After writing the OTP, click the "search" button to process your request.
• Step 5: The website will display the current status of your application, indicating whether it is pending or processed.

E-KYC Process

• Step 1: Visit your nearest ration shop, MP Online Centre, CSC kiosk.
• Step 2: Provide your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and Bank Account Passbook.
• Step 3: Your e-KYC will be conducted through biometric verification at the center.

Check Payment Status

• Step 2: Click on "Application and Payment Status" on the homepage.
• Step 3: Enter your application number or Samagra ID.
• Step 4: Enter the CAPTCHA and click to send OTP.
• Step 5: Input the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click to search.
• Step 6: Once logged in, the payment status will be displayed on your screen.

List Check

• Step 1: Visit the Ladli Behna Yojana's official website at "cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in" or click "cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in/AntimSoochi".
• Step 2: Enter your mobile number and the CAPTCHA, then click "Get OTP".
• Step 3: Use the OTP sent to your mobile to access the final list.

Check DBT Status

• Step 1: Visit the CM Ladli Behna Yojana's official website.
• Step 2: Click on the options for Aadhar linkage and DBT status.
• Step 3: Enter your registration number/Samagra ID, CAPTCHA, and OTP.
• Step 4: Click to search, and view your Aadhaar linkage and DBT status.

Surrender Benefits

• Step 2: Click on "Benefit Surrender" on the homepage.
• Step 3: Enter your application number / Samagra ID.
• Step 4: Input the CAPTCHA and the OTP received on your mobile number.
• Step 5: Give consent to the declaration and click "Agree and Submit".

The मुख्यमंत्री लाडली बहना योजना is a financial assistance scheme for women in Madhya Pradesh. It supports women aged 23-60 from low-income families, providing direct benefits to their DBT-enabled bank accounts.

Purpose

The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana aims to achieve the following key goals:

• Provide direct financial assistance to women, enhancing their economic security and decision-making power.
• Motivate families to educate their daughters by linking financial support to various educational milestones.
• Encourage women to develop skills, explore entrepreneurship opportunities, and become financially independent.

Eligibility Criteria

To get benefit from this scheme, women must meet the following criteria:

• They should be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• This scheme is designed specifically for women.
• Married women, including widows and divorcees, are eligible.
• Applicants must be between 21 and 60 years of age.
• Household income must fall below a specified threshold (currently ₹2.5 lakh annually).
• They must not own more than 5 acres of land.
• No family member should be a government employee or income taxpayer. Applicants should not be enrolled in any educational institution.
